This blog is all about my journey through my fashion final major project at college, I decided I would focus on Alice in Wonderland as there are so many patterns, colours, textures and cute little bits I can use in this project.
I took inspiration from the original books Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, written by Lewis Carroll and illustrated by John Tenniel, the 1951 film directed by Clyde Geronimi and the 2010 film directed by Tim Burton as well as other peoples interpretations of the Alice in Wonderland theme.
This blog will show the processes of my FMP as well as displaying my work, research and ideas in a digital way. I will post blogs weekly showing my sketch books, initial, developed and final garment designs as well as photos of the final garment i will make at the end of this project... I hope you enjoy my little blog :)

I love this movie so much, really reminds me of my childhood
Tim Burtons movies are fantastic and Alice in Wonderland is no exception, i love the modern take on the original. The costumes designes in this movie really show how Alice in Wonderland can be adapted... Love love love the red dress Alice wears when shes with the Queen of Hearts❤
